Care & Maintenance
Shorts, tees, and sweatshirts may be washed like all other garments. Mukrat designs are printed using a low-cure plastisol ink to make it last.
However, to maximize longevity:
- Flip garment inside-out
- Machine wash cold
- Air-dry
- DO NOT MACHINE DRY — it would likely be fine, but machine dryers are terrible for all of your clothes and it might shrink!
Beware, some dye may leave the garment among the first couple washes. We love this because it gives the garments more character the more you wear it — just don't wash it with your whites.

Mukrat tees are a boxy streetwear fit, however, they are still true-to-size, so we recommend ordering your typical size.

Drop Shoulder Tees
Relaxed, oversized, and boxy with a pronounced drop-shoulder cut. The body and shoulders are intentionally wide, and the length is shorter relative to the width, creating a classic oversized silhouette that hangs away from the body rather than hugging it. Take your normal size for the intended boxy fit; sizing down may reduce the oversize effect but the silhouette will remain relaxed.
How it feels:
- Shoulders: wide and dropped
- Body: roomy and box-shaped
- Length: moderate — not long, not cropped
- Fabric: mid-weight 7.5 oz cotton with garment-dye wash for a vintage, worn-in aesthetic
This tee is made with heavyweight, non-stretchy cotton and runs noticeably oversized by design. If you prefer a more traditional fit, sizing down can reduce some width, but the cut will still feel relaxed.
